Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage operational readiness of fleet vessels to meet contractual obligations and customer requirements.
  • •Oversee mooring, pilot boats, and tugs departments; optimize vessel programs for crewing and top-side maintenance efficiencies.
  • •Manage technical performance including vessel dockings, builds, modifications, and technical solution delivery to maximize uptime and quality standards.
  • •Lead fleet vessel compliance with survey and certification requirements, incident reporting, HSSEQ rules, and emergency responsiveness (24/7).
  • •Develop budgets and manage costs/financial variances; lead and manage personnel and training needs to achieve business unit goals.

Key Requirements

  • •Master STCW 2010 Certificate of Competency - Class 1, with at least 3 years deep sea sailing experience and technical experience OR an engineering technical certification with tug operations experience.
  • •10+ years of substantial experience in port marine operations in a shore-based management role.
  • •Substantial experience in the operational management of vessels as a fleet manager or other senior position.
  • •5+ years in technical management of vessels as a fleet manager or similar senior position.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of Quality and Safety Management systems (ISM) and strong written/verbal English communication; full proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
