Key Responsibilities

  • •Enforce PTW, JSA, and HIRA daily, and conduct regular safety inspections for high-risk tasks including confined space, working at heights, lifting operations, and hot works.
  • •Lead incident investigations using RCA or TapRooT, tracking corrective actions to closure.
  • •Manage emergency response protocols and coordinate drills for gas leaks, blowouts, oil spills, and medical evacuations (MEDEVAC).
  • •Ensure compliance with industry ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 29001 (oil & gas quality management).
  • •Monitor environmental metrics and QHSE performance indicators, including chemical storage safety, hazardous waste disposal, flaring compliance, spill containment tracking, and TRIR and monthly compliance reports.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of active safety experience in upstream (drilling/offshore) or downstream (refinery/petrochemical) oil and gas operations.
  • •Certifications: NEBOSH International Diploma (or IGC Grade A/B), IOSH Managing Safely, and Bosiet/Foet (if offshore).
  • •Experience enforcing PTW (Permit-to-Work), JSA, and hazard identification/risk assessments (HIRA).
  • •Ability to lead incident investigations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) or TapRooT and manage corrective actions.
  • •Knowledge of ISO compliance for safety, environment, and oil & gas quality management (including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, ISO 29001).
