Develop and refine guidance, navigation, and control mission requirements for aerospace programs, building complex nonlinear 6-DOF simulation models and control laws. Use multidisciplinary data and tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) to validate against test data, design flight-envelope limiters and mode logic, and integrate control laws into operational flight programs. Support simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight testing, and lead reviews, analyses, and component/system testing.

•Define GNC mission requirements and ensure requirements traceability and quality from system to component level.
•Build and refine nonlinear 6 degrees of freedom simulation models using multidisciplinary model data.
•Design flight control laws using modern linear control design techniques and advanced nonlinear analysis; develop controllers, limiters, mode logic, and signal shaping.
•Validate models against test data and support simulations (desktop, software, real-time) and hardware-in-the-loop development/testing.
•Support flight test planning/execution, lead design reviews and component/system testing, and train/coach others.

•5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of work experience and technical education).
•3+ years of experience in Guidance Navigation and Control engineering.
•Experience using Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX to model systems.
•Ability to define mission requirements with requirements traceability from system level to component level.
