Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, validate, and implement SMT manufacturing systems (assembly lines) with documentation such as PFMEA, work instructions, flow charts, and procedures.
  • •Establish and implement process controls and participate in quality system improvements using APQP methodology.
  • •Manage SMT technicians for production support, program development, and NPI support; support focus factory meetings and safety assessments (JSA/MOC).
  • •Improve line efficiency via ERP (SAP) routing management, standard work implementation, and corrective action plans using daily production data.
  • •Develop and implement Industry 4.0 initiatives, tooling/fixtures (fixtures, stencils), deviations/validations, preventive maintenance programs, and cost-out projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or Mechanics (or similar).
  • •Minimum 2 years of experience in SMT manufacturing and equipment areas (or similar).
  • •Experience/knowledge with process and equipment validation, including PFMEA, process flow, and APQP.
  • •Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/21.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, plus leadership, organization, and analytical thinking.
