Key Responsibilities

  • •Own technical strategy in enterprise deals from first call to production deployment, qualifying with Account Executives and closing across the APAC client base.
  • •Serve as a technical account manager for existing enterprise customers while supporting active prospects, identifying new use cases and expansion/upsell opportunities.
  • •Design vector search architectures for high-scale workloads, including multi-tenant agentic systems, hybrid search pipelines, and low-latency retrieval at billion-vector scale.
  • •Build customer proof-of-concept systems that are taken to production, demonstrating Qdrant performance versus JVM-based or proprietary alternatives.
  • •Advise customers on AI infrastructure decisions, including legacy database migration, avoiding architectural lock-in, and deployment across cloud, on-prem, or air-gapped environments.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of pre-sales or solutions engineering experience, ideally with data infrastructure or systems architecture, and a proven track record running technical qualification and proof-of-concept within a live sales cycle.
  • •Experience designing or operating distributed systems, search infrastructure, or data pipelines at production scale.
  • •Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines and working knowledge of the modern AI stack, including LLMs, embedding models, and agentic frameworks.
  • •Ability to apply a structured sales qualification framework (such as MEDDICC/MEDDPICC) to connect technical decisions to deal strategy and business outcomes.
  • •Strong communication skills across audiences, including explaining indexing trade-offs and infrastructure ROI to technical and executive stakeholders.
