Job Summary

Maintain equipment and facilities to keep the plant operating safely and reliably, supporting continuous improvement and production strategies. Comply with safety procedures (including LOTO, arc flash, and hot work permits) and GMPs, perform planned/unplanned maintenance using CMMS, and execute PMs and repairs across mechanical/electrical systems and utilities (including HVAC and refrigeration). Diagnose failures using RCA/BDA and predictive maintenance tools, document findings, and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Comply with plant and maintenance safety procedures, including LOTO, arc flash, and hot work permits, and maintain PPE usage.
•Perform planned and unplanned maintenance: repairs, installations, preventive maintenance inspections, corrective repairs, and equipment rebuilds.
•Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns using RCA/BDA/cause maps, and use predictive maintenance technologies (ultrasound, thermal imaging, oil and vibration analysis).
•Interpret technical documents and diagrams (factory manuals, blueprints, schematics, single line electrical drawings, pneumatics/hydraulics, and P&IDs) to support repairs and installations.
•Maintain and repair facility and utility systems, including mechanical/electrical building systems and HVAC/refrigeration; perform related repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, pumps, and motors as needed.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing facility performing mechanical and electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs; pass plant-specific maintenance test.
•Some college or a formal technical school education with demonstrated aptitude in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, carpentry, plumbing, and welding techniques.
•Ability to troubleshoot problems involving variables in standardized situations.
•Experience in a food manufacturing environment (two years preferred).
•Attend classes, seminars, and in-house training as needed to maintain skill level.
•Passing plant specific maintenance test required.
