Key Responsibilities

•Develop manufacturable hardware across multiple product lines, balancing form, function, and feasibility
•Spend time in CAD to develop mechanical layouts, mounting strategies, and internal architectures
•Build prototypes, review physical samples, and iterate based on test results
•Participate in design reviews and refine designs for production with input from various teams
•Collaborate with deployments and operations to understand installation, shipping, and handling in practice

Key Requirements

•Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering with experience working on hardware products
•Proficient in CAD tools such as Creo or OnShape
•Ability to build prototypes and iterate designs based on test results
•Comfortable collaborating with electrical, industrial engineering, and manufacturing teams
•Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex designs for cross-functional teams
