Key Responsibilities

•Design & build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.

•Use first principles physics as a basis for every decision.
•Travel to test sites and vendors as needed.
•Collaborate with the hardware engineering team to ensure manufacturability and testability of designs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 30 - 45 hourly

Key Requirements

•Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field.
•Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter/semester.
•Collegiate project team or laboratory experience.
•Currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate engineering program.
•CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards.
•Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills.
•High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principles.
•U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.
