Job Summary

Lead and develop the Wave Planning and Routing teams to optimize order flow and ensure service excellence within Distribution Center operations. Oversee end-to-end waving, routing, and outbound scheduling to improve productivity and capacity utilization while ensuring accurate, compliant, on-time customer shipments. Monitor KPIs, manage order exceptions and shipment risks, drive continuous improvement, maintain SOPs and training, and coach team members to meet operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and oversee Wave Planning and Routing functions to execute daily wave release plans, routing activities, and shipping schedules aligned to customer requirements and business objectives.
•Coordinate daily wave release plans with outbound shipping schedules and Distribution Center operations to optimize workflow and support accurate, timely shipment execution.
•Monitor performance metrics, service levels, and departmental KPIs; implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
•Manage visibility to order exceptions, capacity constraints, and shipment risks, partnering with internal and external teams to resolve issues and minimize service impacts.
•Develop and improve SOPs, workflows, and training; coach and develop team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and Occupational Health & Safety requirements.

Key Requirements

•College or university degree.
•3-5 years of relevant work experience in planning or scheduling.
•In-depth knowledge of end-to-end planning processes across Distribution, Manufacturing, Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
•Strong analytical and logical thinking for operational planning, capacity management, and process optimization in distribution environments.
•Strong systems proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel preferred), WMS, and reporting/analytics tools such as PowerBI; fluent in English (oral and written).
