Lead neutral, timely, and thorough employee relations investigations, partnering with the People Team and acting as a trusted advisor to leadership. Oversee the full investigation lifecycle—from intake and interviews to evidence review, credibility determinations, and factual findings—while ensuring strong documentation and policy alignment. Drive employee relations and employment legal projects, recommend policy updates, design manager/employee training, coach HR business partners, and analyze trends to prevent workplace issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and expand the organization’s investigation function.
•Lead and manage internal investigations end-to-end under the direction of NA Employment Counsel, including interviews, evidence review, credibility determinations, and factual findings.
•Develop employee relations and employment legal projects, including improving investigation processes and implementing ER-focused technologies.
•Review and recommend policy updates, and conduct occasional legal research on employment legal issues.
•Design and deliver training for managers and employees, coach HR business partners, and analyze data to identify trends and prevention opportunities.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in Employee Relations or Employment Legal, focused on conducting workplace investigations.
•Deep knowledge of employment law and regulations across North America.
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
•Experience leading investigations as part of an employee relations/employment legal function.
•Experience in a global or high-growth tech company (preferred).
