Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the terminal recovery lifecycle, including escalation speed and settlement windows based on terminal age, transaction history, and recovery economics.
  • •Ensure every terminal enters recovery mode is assigned, tracked, escalated on schedule, and settled by the gate deadline (recovery, write-off, paid write-off, or insurance claim).
  • •Lead and hold accountable a distributed field recovery team across multiple regions, including training recovery agents and setting standards of integrity.
  • •Develop and refine recovery strategies and SOPs for scenarios such as BRM-led recovery, external agency coordination, business takeover, faulty collection, voluntary write-offs, disputes, and revive processing.
  • •Define and track recovery KPIs and recovery economics, manage recovery budgets/cost centers, and provide monthly reporting on financial impact, disputes, and recovery/revive rates.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years progressive experience leading large-scale field operations, logistics, asset recovery, or after-sales service, including at least 3 years in senior leadership.
  • •Experience managing distributed field teams across multiple regions in Nigeria, understanding infrastructure and logistics constraints.
  • •Experience managing third-party service providers/agency networks with performance-based contracts.
  • •Direct experience in the Nigerian market with its logistical, regulatory, and operational realities.
  • •Preferred: fintech/telecoms/e-commerce logistics or high-volume distributed asset management experience, including asset recovery at scale.
