Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end business-process SOX compliance program, including control scoping, documentation, rationalization, and deficiency remediation aligned to SOX 404.
  • •Conduct risk assessments across high-risk processes (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory management, and revenue lifecycle aligned with ASC 606) and ensure ICFR controls are designed, validated, and tested for operating effectiveness.
  • •Identify, evaluate, and remediate control deficiencies with process owners, defining corrective actions and tracking them to closure.
  • •Align cross-functionally across finance, accounting, RevOps, procurement, legal, IT, and engineering to embed controls into system and process workflows and improve control effectiveness through automation.
  • •Prepare and present SOX status updates, risk assessments, and remediation progress to committees and external audit close meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CIA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • •10 years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or related fields with a focus on business processes.
  • •Strong understanding of SOX 404 requirements, COSO framework, and US GAAP.
  • •Proven success designing and testing controls for operational and financial processes (including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory management, and financial reporting).
  • •Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
