Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support for individual pupils (individually or in a group) inside and outside the classroom so they can fully participate in school day activities.
  • •Assist in implementing individual education programmes, linking to IEP goals and contributing to monitoring pupils’ progress and attainment.
  • •Support pupils with additional support needs (academic, physical, emotional, behavioural) to help develop social and communication skills.
  • •Assist home room and subject teachers with maintaining pupil records and prepare resources to access or differentiate the curriculum.
