Job Summary

Lead and manage the development audit function across capital projects, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Execute risk-based audit plans, assess governance and control environments for development activities, and review cost and financial controls. Identify key risks, develop audit observations and recommendations, and partner with stakeholders and senior leadership to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and execute risk-based audits across capital project activities.
•Review governance, processes, and control environments for development activities such as design and delivery functions.
•Assess cost-related practices and financial controls within capital projects.
•Evaluate alignment with approved policies, procedures, and governance requirements; identify risks and translate them into audit observations and recommendations.
•Engage with stakeholders to support audit execution and follow-up, and contribute to audit methodology, tools, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Governance, Project Management, or a related field.
•Minimum of 7 years of relevant audit experience in capital projects, consulting, or advisory roles, preferably in large-scale development or construction.
•Professional certifications such as CPA or CIA (highly preferred).
•Knowledge of Commercial Governance & Procurement Assurance, including cost planning, tender evaluation, contract management, and claims.
•Strong understanding of project governance, delivery, and cost management; PMP or PMI-RMP preferred, plus analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
