Key Responsibilities

  • •Continuously monitor and research classified intelligence reporting to identify potential threats relevant to U.S. diplomatic facilities, personnel, and interests overseas.
  • •Evaluate classified intelligence against predefined threat criteria for dissemination to operational stakeholders.
  • •Quickly generate and distribute templated threat notifications to overseas security personnel, domestic desk officers and analysts, and external agencies.
  • •Answer requests for information from Senior Watch Officers, office management, and partners within mission requirements, including written and oral briefings as needed.
  • •Maintain classified and unclassified data logs and use intelligence toolkits and databases to support threat warning operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.
  • •Previous experience monitoring, researching, and disseminating security and/or threat-related intelligence reporting, particularly in a U.S. government or Department of State context.
  • •Strong ability to identify relevant intelligence and generate accurate, timely, concise synopses of reports.
  • •Ability to follow established processes, procedures, and written templates.
  • •Proficiency in databases and tools used to access and disseminate classified information.
