Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute RTL design and coding for processor core pipeline sections, primarily caches and related logic.
  • •Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to define high-level processor architecture.
  • •Participate in microarchitecture definition for next-generation high-performance CPU cores.
  • •Contribute to design verification, synthesis, power reduction, timing convergence, and floorplan efforts.
  • •Provide post-silicon support to ensure successful bring-up.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 55,930 - 79,900 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering.
  • •RTL development experience in a CPU/silicon environment using industry tools.
  • •Proven knowledge of CPU architecture, processor logic design, and high-speed processor RTL coding.
  • •Experience with microarchitecture development from clean-sheet design through tape-out and post-silicon debug.
  • •Familiarity with synthesis, place-and-route, and timing closure concepts, including power-saving techniques.
