Key Responsibilities

  • •Own assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including journal entries, reconciliations, roll-forwards, flux analyses, and supporting schedules.
  • •Own key accounting areas such as revenue, lease accounting, accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, and PP&E/fixed assets.
  • •Prepare clear, accurate, audit-ready workpapers and support external auditors with analyses and explanations.
  • •Investigate discrepancies and unusual activity, identify root causes, and drive issues through resolution.
  • •Use NetSuite and analyze transaction-level data to identify trends, anomalies, reconciling items, and period-over-period fluctuations.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, public-company (or public-company-ready) environment.
  • •Experience owning multiple areas of the month-end close.
  • •Experience in consumer products or ecommerce, especially apparel and accessories.
  • •Hands-on NetSuite experience and advanced Excel skills for manipulating, reconciling, and analyzing large data sets.
  • •BS/BA in Finance/Accounting; CPA preferred.
