Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead mechanical engineering for industrial and mining plant facilities, including material handling systems, pumping systems, piping networks, and equipment layouts.
  • •Deliver and review high‑quality engineering outputs—calculations, specifications, datasheets, technical reports, and drawing packages.
  • •Steward technical integration across process, structural, electrical, and civil discipline teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • •Mentor and guide intermediate and junior engineers and designers, fostering technical growth and excellence.
  • •Partner with clients, vendors, and contractors to support equipment selection, procurement, constructability planning, and commissioning success.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and active P.Eng. (or eligibility)
  • •10–15 years of progressive experience with a strong focus on industrial or mining plant design
  • •Expertise in process plants, mine infrastructure, material handling systems, plant layouts, and rotating/static equipment
  • •Experience working within both brownfield and greenfield environments
  • •Proven ability to lead mechanical design independently while providing technical leadership in multidisciplinary teams
