Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and continuously improve the plant OHSE management system, aligned to regulatory and company requirements.
  • •Partner with plant leadership to define and execute the site OHSE strategy, assigning ownership and driving implementation.
  • •Conduct OHSE audits/inspections, complete risk assessments and job safety analyses, and manage corrective action plans to completion.
  • •Oversee incident investigations, manage finalized reports in the corporate incident management system, and analyze trends to prioritize improvements.
  • •Oversee environmental, fire protection, industrial hygiene, site security, training programs, regulatory recordkeeping, contractor safety, and external audit readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, or equivalent experience and technical training.
  • •3+ years of Environmental Health and Safety experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably plastics.
  • •Experience working with construction/contractors in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to communicate across teams and lead OHSE initiatives, including training and maintaining safety program records.
  • •Experience building and leading a safety-first culture and completing projects/initiatives; CSP or CIH certification preferred (must be achieved within 3 years of hire).
