Job Summary

Deliver heavy equipment safely to construction customers using real-time routing, work orders, and delivery details. Operate your vehicle in compliance with state and federal transportation laws, transport loads on schedule, and manage loading/unloading using specialized equipment. Maintain required shipping paperwork, assist with basic truck servicing and report issues, and support yard trailer staging for efficient loading patterns. On-call scheduling may apply.

Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and on time while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading/unloading and return equipment to designated areas.
•Maintain required paperwork (invoices and bills of lading) and perform routine truck service such as checking oil, water, gasoline, and air.

Key Requirements

•Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license depending on state and vehicle weight requirements.

•Must pass a DOT physical because trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
•Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
