Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop new client relationships with ventured-backed technology companies and lead originations efforts with venture capital firms and their portfolios.
  • •Structure appropriate debt financing for venture debt opportunities and sell bank products while focusing on venture debt.
  • •Source high-quality deals and sponsor them through underwriting, structuring, credit committee process, and closing.
  • •Own primary day-to-day relationships with key contacts and assist portfolio teams in managing and adding loans, deposits, and GTM products.
  • •Manage documentation, negotiate terms, ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., Reg B), and assist with interviewing, hiring, and employee performance.
  • •Manage, support, coach, and train employees and assist in developing less experienced bankers and analysts.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of venture technology innovation banking experience.
  • •Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience or training.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations, including Reg Z, Reg B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, AML/CIP, RFPA, and CRA.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • •Ability to originate, structure, and manage credit requests through underwriting and related processes.
