Key Responsibilities

•Develop new client relationships with ventured-backed technology companies and lead originations efforts with venture capital firms and their portfolios.
•Structure appropriate debt financing for venture debt opportunities and sell bank products while focusing on venture debt.
•Source high-quality deals and sponsor them through underwriting, structuring, credit committee process, and closing.
•Own primary day-to-day relationships with key contacts and assist portfolio teams in managing and adding loans, deposits, and GTM products.
•Manage documentation, negotiate terms, ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., Reg B), and assist with interviewing, hiring, and employee performance.
•Manage, support, coach, and train employees and assist in developing less experienced bankers and analysts.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of venture technology innovation banking experience.
•Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience or training.
•Demonstrated knowledge and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations, including Reg Z, Reg B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, AML/CIP, RFPA, and CRA.
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Ability to originate, structure, and manage credit requests through underwriting and related processes.
