Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure a safe work environment by complying with all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
  • •Follow company policies and report problems to appropriate leaders (Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager).
  • •Assist construction/paving crews with tasks such as shoveling/raking, running wheelbarrows, and safely backing/dumping trucks into a paver.
  • •Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials distribution.
  • •Dig, spread, and level construction materials; lift, carry, and hold materials, tools, and supplies; and set up/remove traffic control devices.
