Key Responsibilities

•Own the strategy, governance, architecture, and operational health of the Appian platform, ensuring security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
•Lead and develop a high-performing Appian engineering team with coaching, inclusive leadership, and continuous learning.
•Drive Agile delivery with Product Owners to prioritize work, manage capacity, deliver releases, and improve delivery metrics.
•Set development, integration, security, and platform standards; oversee enterprise integrations, platform upgrades, monitoring, incident management, and technical debt reduction.
•Partner with technology and business teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable digital capabilities that improve operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

•5+ years leading enterprise application platforms, software engineering, Agile delivery, or enterprise technology solutions, including 2+ years of people leadership experience.
•Experience with Appian or a comparable low-code/BPM platform and strong knowledge of Agile delivery, enterprise integrations, APIs, cloud technologies, DevOps/CI/CD, and platform operations.
•Ability to build high-performing teams through coaching, inclusive leadership, talent development, and operational excellence.
•Strong critical thinking, communication, stakeholder management, adaptability, innovation mindset, and AI fluency.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
