Job Summary

Provide on-site generator rebuild and HVAC maintenance support for the U.S. Army, servicing 3kW–150kW generators and HVAC systems used by the mission. Perform overhauls, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for AC/DC systems, electronic control systems, wiring, chillers, and environmental control units across shop and field environments. Conduct testing with a load bank/dynometer, fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals, and train operations and maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform overhaul, maintenance, and sustainment support on 3kW to 150kW generators, including installation/removal from fixed and mobile locations.
•Troubleshoot and repair AC systems, DC systems, electronic control systems, wiring, and other program logic controls.
•Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, chillers, and environmental control units, including units mounted on trailers and vehicles.
•Maintain commercial power generation equipment, military-spec generators, and uninterrupted power systems (UPS).
•Operate a load bank and dynometer during testing; fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals; provide training to site personnel.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma with 6 years related experience, or BA/BS with 2 years, or AA/AS with 4 years experience.
•Extensive diesel engine rebuild and generator experience, including knowledge of generator parallel systems and switch gear.
•Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, including brazing copper tubing and evacuating/recharging refrigerant.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within 12 months of the start date.
•US citizenship required and role requirements include a valid US driver’s license and an international driver’s permit (AAA).
