Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and design Class D power output stages including H-bridge/BTL configurations, gate drivers, charge pumps, level shifters, dead-time control, and shoot-through protection.
  • •Design high-voltage switching circuits focused on efficiency, thermal performance, and EMI compliance.
  • •Develop transistor-level schematics in Cadence Virtuoso and verify performance across PVT corners using SPICE simulation.
  • •Collaborate with systems, layout, and applications engineers to meet audio specifications and power delivery targets.
  • •Analyze and resolve design issues from prototype through production qualification, including EMI/EMC characterization and LC filter optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •5-10+ years of analog/mixed-signal IC design experience.
  • •Experience designing power output stages including gate drivers, H-bridge/BTL output configurations, dead-time control, and overcurrent/thermal protection.
  • •Strong understanding of high-voltage switching behavior, GaN/MOSFET/LDMOS device physics, and parasitic-aware design techniques.
  • •Experience with EMI mitigation in switching amplifiers and proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso with SPICE simulation.
