Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, and transmission systems on diesel trucks.
•Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using diagnostic tools and hand-held devices; road test vehicles to verify repairs.
•Manage parts inventory and maintain company-issued service vehicle with pre-/post-trip inspections.
•Document repairs and findings on Repair Orders using company-issued iOS device and TRAIT app; complete DOT forms timely.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience (or an equivalent combination of education/experience)
•Possess a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties
•Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months
•DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance; able to complete DOT background screening and DOT physical
•Safe drivers with valid driver’s license and ability to work in a mobile/field environment
