Key Responsibilities

  • •Write, debug, and maintain embedded C code for daemons, shared libraries, and Linux kernel modules on ARM64 and MIPS switch platforms.
  • •Assist with drivers and platform bring-up, including device drivers, BSP code, and HAL that connect the ASIC SDK to firmware components.
  • •Implement well-scoped L2/L3 networking features (e.g., VLANs, STP/RSTP, LLDP, IGMP snooping, LACP, ACLs) under guidance.
  • •Own bug tickets from the field/internal QA by reproducing issues, isolating root cause across kernel/driver/application layers, and delivering fixes with regression coverage.
  • •Participate in code reviews and hardware lab validation, using tools like GDB, strace, kernel logs, tcpdump, Wireshark, and serial console/JTAG when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.E. in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or a related field
  • •0–2 years of professional experience
  • •Strong C fundamentals (pointers, memory management, structs, bit manipulation)
  • •Working knowledge of Linux (shell, GCC toolchain, GDB, Make, Git)
  • •Foundational computer networking knowledge (OSI, Ethernet, IP/TCP/UDP, ARP, VLANs/subnetting)
