Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop procurement and contracting strategies, procurement plans, and packaging approaches aligned with company standards and project plans.
  • •Lead end-to-end procurement, including sourcing, RFP development, evaluations, contract execution, negotiations, amendments/variations, and lifecycle management.
  • •Review, analyze, negotiate, and settle claims, and manage agreement close-out for material supply and related service contracts.
  • •Develop and lead a remote arctic logistics program and platform to improve supply chain efficiencies and mitigate delivery risks.
  • •Collaborate with legal to compile supplier Master Services Agreements and support supplier library and scorecards while preparing compliance reports and mentoring the team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 138,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • •8-10+ years of experience in project procurement, supporting brownfield and underground mining projects on major capital projects.
  • •3-5 years of hands-on field experience.
  • •Extensive experience creating and leading purchase agreements and contracts, including negotiation, administration, and change management.
  • •Proven knowledge of project management principles (risk, cost, schedule, and change management) and experience supporting procurement through contract close-out.
