Key Responsibilities

  • •Own MDI technical architecture end-to-end across sovereign cloud, classified bilateral networks, maritime C2 patterns, edge-to-cloud pipelines, and coalition interoperability.
  • •Ensure cross-workstream architectural coherence and prevent technical debt across concurrent milestones.
  • •Define and enforce engineering standards (IaC practices, security baselines, deployment patterns, documentation requirements, peer review, RFC-governed decisions).
  • •Translate national accreditation requirements into engineering controls and drive reliability/quality improvement with measurable targets.
  • •Lead a distributed engineering team across US, UK, and AUS; mentor IC3–IC5 engineers and codify reusable patterns/templates to scale deployments globally.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep experience designing and building classified network infrastructure across multiple nations or accreditation frameworks.
  • •Hands-on sovereign cloud architecture implementation, including IaC, module development, and deployment automation.
  • •Experience with COMSEC integration and cryptographic key management (including HAIPE/KG-175X).
  • •Ability to set and drive engineering standards for a distributed team and drive adoption without micromanagement.
  • •Track record building reusable infrastructure patterns that scale across deployments, with multinational compliance/accreditation knowledge (at least 2 of: DCSA/NIST 800-53, IRAP/ISM, NCSC Cyber Essentials+/OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE).
