Key Responsibilities

•Deliver the business strategy for US Business Credit Office with knowledge of CIB priorities, focusing on fintech and NBFIs/financial institutions.
•Build and manage strategic customer relationships using sector knowledge to provide value-add advice and support.
•Ensure compliance with HSBC policies, procedures, and control requirements, raising concerns via reporting and escalation processes.
•Manage operational risk by addressing areas of concern with Risk and relevant colleagues and ensuring timely implementation of audit/regulator actions.
•Lead credit engagement to help relationship managers optimize relationship value and deliver fair, needs-based solutions.

Key Requirements

•Significant, hands-on corporate and institutional banking credit underwriting experience, ideally covering fintech and related NBFI/financial institution clients.
•Strong structuring and credit underwriting experience.
•Thorough understanding of fintech business models and their credit and risk profiles for relevant transactions.
•Ability to analyze situations effectively and make well thought-out decisions.
•Proven leadership skills including coaching, motivation, and communication, with strong teamwork and analytical ability.
