Key Responsibilities

  • •Support engineers, project managers, and technical staff with drafting and design activities related to utility, industrial, and commercial-scale substation energy projects.
  • •Assist with research, design development, and preparation of drawings for transmission and distribution substations, power distribution systems, substation energy facilities, and protection and control systems.
  • •Collect, compile, and organize data from surveys, field notes, blueprints, schematics, specifications, and sketches to support drafting and design efforts.
  • •Use 2D and 3D CADD software to prepare drawings of basic to moderate complexity with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • •Collaborate with engineers to resolve design questions, incorporate markups, and revise drawings through multiple review cycles.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma.
  • •Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-education drafting and design support experience.
