Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer, monitor, and maintain Hecla’s network infrastructure across company locations, including switching/routing and backbone connectivity.
  • •Administer enterprise firewalls (policy/rule management, network segmentation, and coordinated change control) in partnership with Cybersecurity.
  • •Administer enterprise wireless (controllers/access points) with attention to coverage, capacity, and performance.
  • •Manage WAN/SD-WAN and ISP circuits, including provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination with carriers.
  • •Establish standards and processes for network administration (configuration baselines, runbooks, update/maintenance cycles), work within the ITSM platform, and enable service desk resolution/escalation; also support mine-site OT networks and monitor/remediate issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of progressive network administration experience in an enterprise or multi-site environment administering firewalls, switching/routing, and wireless infrastructure.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Experience establishing or improving network administration processes and standards, including update and maintenance cycles and configuration baselines.
  • •Experience with ITSM platform work and ITIL-aligned incident, service request, change, and problem management processes.
  • •Preferred: ITIL Foundation certification and/or entry-level networking/security certifications such as Juniper JNCIA or Palo Alto PCNSA (or comparable vendor certifications).
