Key Responsibilities

  • •Support departmental safety efforts and participate in programs promoting a safety culture at the site.
  • •Execute scheduled and planned mechanical work orders and perform emergency response tasks as needed.
  • •Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment, and dismantle defective machines and equipment to install new or repaired parts.
  • •Set up and operate machine tools (grinder, drill, saws) to repair or fabricate machine parts, fixtures, and tools; repair and maintain physical structures.
  • •Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used, recommend maintenance improvement ideas to lower costs and improve reliability and safety, and enter production data into VDBs and SAP.

Key Requirements

  • •High School diploma or GED required; associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent and one-year related experience, or 3+ years of mechanical manufacturing experience with trade school diploma/certification desired.
  • •Basic working knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Production Planning modules.
  • •Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Access.
  • •Ability to perform mechanical maintenance work, including inspecting, testing, dismantling defective equipment, and installing new or repaired parts.
