Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide innovative mechanical design solutions for packaging of RF hardware (antennas, RF circuit card assemblies, radomes, and RF test equipment).
  • •Provide technical oversight on multidisciplinary programs, including delegating tasks and establishing technology roadmaps.
  • •Conduct and orchestrate trade studies for complex RF/mechanical design problems and develop a forward plan.
  • •Work with customer and program leadership to define and refine requirements to validate hardware compliance.
  • •Guide, coach, mentor, and train other employees within areas of RF mechanical design expertise.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a Bachelor’s in STEM with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 8 years of experience.
  • •Perform design and analysis for packaging of RF products (e.g., circuit card assemblies, antennas, radomes, RF test equipment, harnesses/interconnects) across the product life cycle using 3D CAD.
  • •Create Technical Data Packages (TDPs) using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for RF products.
  • •Obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date, with ability to obtain special program access after start.
  • •Experience designing RF-specific products such as antennas, missile bodies, circuit card assemblies, and/or RF test chambers (preferred).
