Key Responsibilities

•Lead mechanical design of battery modules and enclosures, focusing on thermal management, structural integrity, and safety.
•Coordinate electromechanical integration with Electrical Engineering on busbars, wire harnesses, and PCB mounting solutions; ensure creepage and clearance for high-voltage applications.
•Create blueprint drawings and technical specifications, perform QA/QC reviews, and apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) for fit and function.
•Lead DFMEA sessions, develop and execute DVP&R plans, and oversee vibration, thermal, ingress protection, and crash-related testing.
•Develop assembly documentation, support the manufacturing floor, and troubleshoot production issues using 8D root-cause analysis.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80,000 - 90,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
•3+ years of professional mechanical design experience (actual design, not process).
•Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor (CSWA/CSWP or equivalent certification is a plus).
•Strong understanding of material selection, thermal interface materials, and DFM/DFA best practices.
•Experience designing multiple-component products that go to an end user.
