Job Summary

Lead Workday’s Information Development content engineering and operations functions, building a comprehensive content and knowledge management strategy for technical, customer-facing content. Partner with product, technology, DevOps, UI/UX, and content/localization leaders to set technical direction, evolve the current platform, and design the platform of the future. Manage and mentor engineering and operations teams to deliver major platform initiatives and operational excellence.

•Build out and lead content engineering and operations functions, including a content and knowledge management strategy.
•Lead the Content Engineering team to improve core functions of the existing platform system and design/build the platform of the future.
•Provide technical direction, vision, and judgment while coaching and mentoring teams.
•Collaborate with community, localization, content, product managers, engineering leads, DevOps, UI/UX, and stakeholders to deliver best-in-class customer information experiences.
•Oversee the operations function, including operational tasks, processes, and personnel.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 281,600 - 422,400 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
•10+ years management experience leading engineering and/or content management teams and leading managers.
•In-depth knowledge of content publishing platforms, processes, strategies, and industry trends, especially for technical documentation and structured content.
•Strong technical skills related to enterprise application development, cloud services, and content management systems.
•Track record recruiting, building, and managing engineering and/or content management teams delivering business results.
