Job Summary

Manage Vans Japan Action Sports wholesale/direct-to-partner accounts, helping drive sales and margin targets across key accounts and wholesale channels. Assist the Vans Japan WS manager with holistic distribution strategy, license partner business management, seasonal bookings, forecasting, and inventory/DSI performance. Lead and motivate the wholesale sales team, coordinate with merchandising/product and marketing for market-right assortments and street-culture collaborations, and report results to Asia HQ.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the WS manager with wholesale distribution strategy, including license partner business management and shifting key/energy accounts to direct WS business.
•Develop and execute account plans for key accounts and energy fashion accounts across wholesale agency partners, wholesale e-commerce, and other channels.
•Manage seasonal bookings, sales forecasting, and new channel identification/opening.
•Optimize sales, inventory volume, rebates, returns, and terms to meet revenue/margin targets and DSI goals.
•Lead and motivate the wholesale sales team, manage credit control/customer service, coordinate with Asia HQ for sales activity updates, and provide reporting and disparity analysis.

Key Requirements

•5-8 years of sales experience.
•3+ years of large national accounts sales experience.
•Experience in wholesale business for casual apparel or sportswear.
•Proven key account management experience.
•New business development experience strongly preferred, with a strong sense of street fashion and experience in distributor/licensee management a plus.
