Job Summary

Lead Visa’s market acceptance strategy to grow Visa card penetration across Vietnam and Laos, spanning face-to-face and eCommerce merchants. Own execution and rollout of Visa Acceptance Solutions for SMB and everyday spend segments, including issuer onboarding and merchant acquisition campaigns. Partner with Payment Facilitators/Acquirers and Visa Commercial and Government teams to expand acceptance points, improve merchant acceptance infrastructure, and drive eCommerce initiatives such as Token and Click to Pay.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead market acceptance strategy to grow Visa card penetration across Vietnam and Laos for face-to-face and eCommerce merchants.
•Own execution and rollout of Visa Acceptance Solutions for SMBs and everyday spend segments, including milestone tracking, issuer onboarding, and merchant acquisition campaigns.
•Partner with Payment Facilitators/Acquirers and work with Visa Account Executives to co-develop accounts plans, strategies, and campaigns.
•Conduct economic sensitivity analyses and deploy tailored commercial actions based on merchant feedback and market conditions.
•Improve acceptance infrastructure by launching and scaling Tap to Phone, Scan to Pay interoperability, and expanding NFC adoption; support eCommerce acceptance via Token penetration, Click to Pay, and CyberSource/security solutions.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required (MBA a plus) with a minimum 12 years of experience in payments, acquiring, merchant business development, or product leadership.
•Strong understanding of acquiring business, merchant acceptance, and merchant solutions.
•Strategic and analytical mindset with strong execution skills and ability to design commercially viable go-to-market strategies.
•Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage business relationships with curiosity to learn Visa products and services.
•Excellent communication skills in English and Vietnamese; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for business case development.
