Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues using data from many equipment makes/models.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing and maintaining equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in-shop and at customer locations, handling repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain complete daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience reading and knowing schematics and calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; high school diploma and trade school certificate preferred (EPA 608 preferred; obtain within 6–12 months if needed).
