Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve best possible outcomes.
  • •Plan, prepare, and present curriculum-aligned sessions for the full ability range; organise classroom resources and learning displays.
  • •Assess and record student progress using Target Tracker, use assessment data to plan interventions, and provide feedback to parents/carers at conferences and meetings.
  • •Follow the school’s behaviour policy and manage classes effectively, acting decisively and maintaining high expectations for behaviour.
  • •Collaborate with colleagues and parents, work with curriculum support staff as applicable, support school events/outings, and run a weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification
  • •Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience
  • •Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
  • •Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check
  • •Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child, with a high level of professionalism and consideration for children’s well-being
