Job Summary

Lead capital and expense projects at the Conroe site, managing delivery through a staged gate process from Front-End Loading (FEL) to design, construction, and startup. Partner with engineering, operations, maintenance, and contractors to execute safely, on time, and on budget. Own project development activities such as scope definition, cost estimating, schedule development, risk/change management, and stakeholder communication, while providing technical troubleshooting across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead project development from concept through FEL, including scope definition, cost estimating, and schedule development.
•Manage project execution through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
•Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and contractors.
•Ensure projects meet safety, quality, scope, schedule, and cost objectives.
•Maintain project schedules, track progress, manage changes and risks, and forecast/track project costs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
•5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment, including 2+ years of project management experience.
•Demonstrated experience supporting projects from FEL through construction and startup.
•Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
•Experience working within a stage-gate project execution framework.
