Key Responsibilities

  • •Commission, program, and set up graphics and end-to-end testing for assigned direct digital control projects.
  • •Troubleshoot and service products and equipment at customer locations to diagnose and repair equipment and systems.
  • •Document point-to-point verification, validate sequences of operations, and complete job close-out requirements.
  • •Coordinate with team leadership and customers to understand onsite installation and repair requirements by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
  • •Maintain current knowledge of Trane products and continually enforce safety while recording asset use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent is required; typically 5-7 years of experience in HVAC/Controls.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years.
  • •5+ years of experience with known BAS control systems.
  • •Niagara Workbench with N4 certification is preferred; technical school or formal training is preferred.
