Key Responsibilities

  • •Own network architecture for the SGP platform by defining and enforcing networking standards across AWS, Azure, and GCP customer deployments.
  • •Design and review VPC architectures, peering, DNS, load balancing, and edge/CDN configurations; ground tradeoffs in data and domain knowledge.
  • •Make connectivity and traffic-flow decisions across VPN, routing, access, and ingress/egress, and converge per-customer designs onto a standard connectivity pattern.
  • •Define the customer-boundary delivery blueprint for how code, images, and traffic cross into customer tenants, including CI/CD mirroring and private registry/ingress patterns.
  • •Own Kubernetes traffic layer standards including Istio/Envoy mesh, per-cloud CNI behavior, and a portable NetworkPolicy contract for constraining pod egress.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of network engineering experience designing and operating production cloud networks.
  • •Deep cloud networking expertise in at least two of AWS, Azure, and GCP (VPC, peering, Transit Gateway/hub-and-spoke, private connectivity, DNS).
  • •Kubernetes networking depth including CNI, ingress, NetworkPolicy, and service mesh (Istio/Envoy).
  • •Strong TCP/IP fundamentals including BGP, routing, firewalls, VPN (site-to-site and client), and TLS.
  • •Ability to define and enforce network standards/reference architectures and converge requirements across many existing environments; Terraform preferred.
