Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee daily rail service operations including scheduling, dispatching, routing, and train movements.
  • •Ensure trains operate within safety rules, manage speed restrictions, and handle emergency procedures per GCOR and ABTH.
  • •Ensure activities meet Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and other applicable safety regulations, including weekly safety meetings.
  • •Supervise inspection, repair, and upkeep of rail systems, locomotives, and rolling stock.
  • •Manage personnel, equipment, and budgets; coordinate stakeholders and address passenger and freight customer concerns; deliver contract service levels and quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Active Railway/Railroad Engineer license, current and valid.
  • •Complete online Container Inspection for Commercial and Military Intermodal Containers (MIL HDBK 138A).
  • •Obtain forklift license for all equipment (4K to 50K).
  • •Pass pre-employment drug test and background screening; obtain and maintain a CAC with a favorable TIER-1 investigation result; hold a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.
