Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute plant people strategies with Plant Leadership, including workforce planning, succession planning, capability development, change management, and HR transformation initiatives.
  • •Lead industrial and labour relations: build union/employee representative relationships, manage collective bargaining and wage negotiations, and handle grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable labour legislation and manage government liaison, inspections, audits, statutory registers, licences, records, notices, and regulatory submissions.
  • •Oversee factory HR operations and contract labour management, including workforce deployment, recruitment/onboarding, HRIS and payroll coordination, and contractor compliance and audits.
  • •Lead talent management, performance management, and employee engagement programs while partnering with HSE and building HR dashboards/insights; coach and develop the Plant HR team.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of progressive HR experience with significant manufacturing/industrial experience.
  • •Minimum 10 years in Plant HR leadership roles.
  • •Strong expertise in industrial relations, labour relations, collective bargaining, labour law/statutory compliance, workforce management, and employee relations.
  • •Proven experience managing unionized workforces, government inspections, wage settlements, disciplinary processes, and organizational change initiatives.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, Labour Welfare, or related discipline (MBA/master’s preferred).
