Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design, implementation, and operational excellence of new software, features, and solutions for the Payments Platform Engineering team.
•Drive architecture discussions, produce well-documented design docs, and participate in design and code reviews to ensure scalable, maintainable code.
•Assess implementation alternatives, provide recommendations, estimate engineering efforts, and help deliver software components on time.
•Implement secure, reliable, at-scale software services using RDBMS/NoSQL, caching, and messaging/queuing systems such as SQS/Kafka/RabbitMQ/Pulsar.
•Own performance and availability of services, participate in on-call rotations, and develop automated tests for production releases in CI/CD environments.

Salary: USD 189,592 - 300,500 annually

•Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
•Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
•Object-Oriented Design experience applying design principles to structure scalable, maintainable applications.
•Experience developing backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and/or Spring Boot microservices.
•Experience building and operating distributed systems using technologies such as RDBMS/SQL, NoSQL, AWS, and messaging/queuing platforms (e.g., Kafka, SQS/RabbitMQ/Pulsar).
