Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a revenue accounting subject matter expert for ASC 606-compliant revenue recognition, including contract reviews and non-standard sales arrangement evaluation.
  • •Maintain revenue recognition policies and related policies (e.g., gross vs. net, contract combination, consideration payable, AR reserve).
  • •Lead monthly revenue close activities, including variance analysis review, reconciliations, and SOX controls.
  • •Manage quarterly and annual reporting, including footnote disclosures, internal controls, and coordinating with internal and external auditors.
  • •Design and implement scalable revenue accounting solutions to support product launches and improvements to the revenue recognition engine and systems.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of revenue accounting experience, including SaaS and service arrangements.
  • •Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP revenue recognition, specifically ASC 606 and consumption-based revenue standards.
  • •Experience with NetSuite, Zuora, and Roadrunner CPQ, plus systems implementations.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (four-year university) with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
  • •Experience with a Big-4 or equivalent national accounting firm and strong project management and communication skills.
