Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on assigned projects and fully understand the project’s expediting strategy.
  • •Liaise with suppliers and other functions to facilitate the status of project goods and materials.
  • •Drive accurate and timely project status reporting process and weekly expediting reports.
  • •Ensure the Supplier’s timely delivery of all items on Purchase Orders to maintain the Project schedule.
  • •Identify and understand levels of required expediting and actions workload to optimize material deliveries according to project schedule requirements and shop demands

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management (or a relevant discipline) or HSD/GED/IGCSE with 3 years of relevant experience; 3-6 years of relevant experience
  • •Demonstrates knowledge of the expediting process as related to procurement
  • •Experience expediting supplier documentation, piping bulks, electrical bulks, instrumentation bulks, as well as instrumentation such as regulators, gauges, and PSVs; experience expediting mechanical equipment is a plus
  • •Ability to effectively communicate with procurement personnel and non-procurement personnel; ability to work well with others
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access); knowledge of Materials Management systems for procurement and logistics
