Job Summary

Own and sustain one or more 300mm thin-film toolsets for Intel’s Ocotillo Technology Fabrication. Drive tool availability, matching, and excursion-free performance by reviewing control charts, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and using statistical problem-solving to improve quality, yield, reliability, stability/capability, productivity, and manufacturability. Lead process control development, support volume ramp and factory transfers, and install/conversion/qualification for new technology startups.

Key Responsibilities

•Own sustaining activities for one or more 300mm toolsets, including safety, cleanliness, and copy-exact performance.
•Review control charts and tool output daily to keep toolsets and layers excursion-free and achieve matching and MOR availability.
•Define roadmaps, flow, procedures, and equipment configurations for new technology process modules.
•Plan and run experiments to characterize processes and apply statistical tools to improve quality, yield, reliability, stability/capability, productivity, safety/ergonomics.
•Lead tool installations, conversions, qualifications, and support volume ramp and factory start-up transfers, including training production/receiving process engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 103,730 - 198,820 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience OR master's degree with 2+ years of experience OR PhD with 6+ months in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, or related STEM fields.
•2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or advanced technology development environment.
•Experience with process characterization, data analysis, and statistical problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.
•Knowledge of equipment matching, qualification, maintenance optimization, and copy-exact manufacturing principles.
•Ability to sustain and improve toolset performance for quality, yield, reliability, and process stability/capability.
