Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and coordinate end-to-end SOC 2 Type I and Type II audit lifecycles, schedules, auditor coordination, and remediation of findings.
  • •Own and continuously update a central “Library of Truth” repository of security evidence, technical configurations, and policy documents for fast customer and Security responses.
  • •Partner early with IT, Security, Product, Engineering, and Delivery to review changes and influence architecture decisions to bake in compliance by design.
  • •Write, update, and operationalize security policies by translating SOC 2 and NIST controls into developer-friendly tasks, and automate enforcement in CI/CD where possible.
  • •Operate the GRC stack (Vanta, Drata), manage compliance ticketing and quarterly User Access Reviews, and build compliance dashboards/metrics for leadership and Security.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •2–5 years of technical compliance, IT audit, or GRC experience in a SaaS or fast-paced startup environment.
  • •End-to-end experience supporting external SOC 2 Type I and Type II audits, including expertise auditing IT General Controls (ITGC).
  • •Strong technical understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), IAM, CI/CD pipelines, encryption standards, and vulnerability management.
  • •Experience operating automated compliance platforms (Vanta, Drata) and tracking work in Jira, plus security awareness tooling (KnowBe4).
  • •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to explain technical controls to customers and translate compliance needs for engineering teams.
